In Generation II and IV games, Agatha steps down from the Elite Four, replaced by Bruno. Her departure remains unexplained, but a portrait featuring her, Professor Oak, and Kurt adorns the latter’s house, hinting at their shared history.

Agatha made her debut in ”The Scheme Team”. Ash encounters Agatha in Viridian City on his way back to Pallet Town. Scott introduces her, revealing she’s temporarily serving as the Viridian Gym Leader until the new one arrives. Agatha employs Ghost-type Pokémon for the Gym battles.
Agatha exudes confidence in battle, eagerly anticipating challenges from formidable Trainers. Her extensive experience has honed a diverse set of strategies, demonstrated by clever tactics like utilizing Golbat‘s Supersonic to deflect Cacnea’s Pin Missile instead of causing confusion.

Red, Green & Blue arc – Agatha made a cameo appearance when Professor Oak reminisced about his first championship victory, which was against her in the finals. Later in “A Charizard…and a Champion,” she was seen standing alongside her fellow Elite Four members as they observed the finals of the Pokémon League.
Yellow arc – Agatha played a central villainous role in this chapter, aligning with the Elite Four in their plot to eradicate most of humanity from their base on Cerise Island.

Agatha makes an appearance in “Panic on the Luxury Liner?!” where she exhibits the ability to morph into a Golbat. Initially spotted as a Golbat, she surveils Red as he boards the Luxury Liner. Subsequently, she assumes human form after they’ve embarked.

In the ninth and final chapter of the Pokémon Zensho manga, PZ10, Lorelei, as the third member of the Elite Four, engages in battle against Satoshi using her Gengar. After being defeated, Satoshi proceeds to the next room to confront Bruno.
